Since 2002, I am a teacher and researcher at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Structural Mechanics, Opole University of Technology.
2009-2012: 3-year stay at European Laboratory for Structural Assessment (ELSA), Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, Ispra, Italy. Post-doc grant, project: Robustness of frame structures against accidental loading.
2002-2003: 12-month Marie-Curie Fellowship Training Site at European Laboratory for Structural Assessment, Joint Research Center, Ispra, Italy. Project: Damage detection of frame structures using vibration measurements.
2020: habilitation (associate professor), Opole University of Technology, habilitation dissertation: "Progressive collapse of reinforced concrete frame structures under column removal", Publishing House of Opole University of Technology, Opole, 2019.
